I am on my 2nd week after my last chemo, I have energy! I feel good! I am going to get some housework done that has been overlooked for a while. I am going to use this wave of energy for as long as it lasts. I know it can't shut off really quick. Other cancer fighters know what I mean about energy and lack of.
I am also trying to get caught on things as I will start my maintenance chemo in a week. I will be taking it nightly and it has 6 pages of side effects that could affect me. Fatigue is one of the side effects and it might be something that I need to .get used to or it could just get worse with each day. So today...I ride the energy wave!
I think too, the nicer winter weather and temperatures are giving me me energy. I don't think anyone felt like doing much when we were experiencing the ugly wind chills and temps we had a couple weeks ago.
I changed jobs and that too has given me energy. It is exciting to be training and meeting my new co-workers. I had to buy some new clothes as my job attire is business, mostly black. It has been fun shopping for clothes. And in the mornings I pack my pink purse/briefcase and get a few snacks or my lunch bag. I am a PAR for Sanford Occupational Therapies.
But now I need to get laundry moved over and another load in. Time to ride that energy wave before it breaks. I will enjoy our nice weather too, knowing a snowstorm could break too.
