Oh what next?!

This past Friday I had labs and my CT scan. For the CT, fasting is required. Ok. I get to labs, tech tells me a urine sample is needed. What? I said, " I have been fasting for my CT and now you expect me to pee?" Oh we laughed. I was able to provide one.

I got the results of my bloodwork, it looks good. I have learned over these past 3+ years what good numbers are. And my CA 125 ( cancer marker) is holding at 11. Woo hoo. Onto the CT. I got that done, stylin' boots with the gown. Now to wait til Monday for those results.

Went to work, had a good day there. Come home. Eat supper, relax. About 10pm I smell something burning in my house, like rubber or something similar. I went downstairs and my furnace is making a weird noise. So I shut off the power to it. It was rather chilly in the overnight, but at least it wasn't 30 below or worse.

Saturday I called Bismarck Heating and Air, guy came, looked at my furnace, the motor burnt out. My furnace is also 30 years old, I should really replace it. However, I have chemo on Monday and I need some heat, so he replaced the motor. It was quite costly. But now I know I need to go shopping for a new furnace.

I have to stop saying 'what next', I have too many things happen. But I get past all the hurdles that come up. It gets tiring, with hurdles popping up, but I keep going.

I also refilled my Zejula...another $22,000. It is an expensive weekend. CT, labs, furnace, Zejula, chemo on Monday...yeah...if someone wins the lottery...please share!

In Norway people would say uffdah! Please tell me your meds are mostly covered by insurance?! That is downright absurd. As far as the "what next", I've had that quote down for a while too..just different situations for us I guess. I have an umbrella if you need one. 😆 We love ya, girl...prayers are ascending for you😘
